RentalDog helps Vancouverites search for apartments

Vancouver residents have a new tool to find the perfect apartment in Vancouver.

RentalDog, a new free iPhone/iPad app, helps in the hunt for an apartment in the City of Vancouver.
Developed by Vancouver-based CloudGraf Studios, the app shows users all licensed rental properties in Vancouver with any bylaw issues during the last year. The app tells apartment seekers important information about rental properties including the property address, names of landlords, and health or safety bylaw issues.

“We know how hard it is to find a good, safe apartment here in Vancouver,” says Kacey Wilson, Project Manager at CloudGraf. “RentalDog gives apartment hunters the information they need for their search in one place. It’s on their phone whenever they need it, it’s easy to use and it’s always up-to-date. Best of all, it’s free.”

Available from iTunes at no cost, RentalDog can help any potential renter find out information about bylaw issues on the property. “Vancouver is a tough city to rent in, and we want to help people make safer housing choices,” says Dave Dumaresq. “RentalDog is a free tool for any Vancouver apartment hunter’s arsenal, and CloudGraf is proud to offer it.”

Founded in 2013, CloudGraf is a Vancouver-based software development studio sourcing open-data to build mobile discovery apps with a social conscience.
